Former Congressional Candidate Faces Charges
A former attorney who ran for Congress in 2004, is facing charges for allegedly defrauding a disabled client out of nearly $300,000.
Charges against Justin Nadeau include theft by deception, multiple counts of falsifying physical evidence and financial exploitation of an elderly disabled or impaired adult.
According to court documents, Nadeau induced two loans from a now former client who had suffered a traumatic brain injury and then he altered electronic files and forged documents.
Nadeau will be arraigned next month in Portsmouth County Circuit Court.
