Red Cross Needs Your Help
The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage as the national blood supply has fallen by more than 25% since July 1. More donations are needed now to help prevent delays in vital medical care.
You can help by making an appointment to donate blood at the Gail Singer Memorial Blood Drive August 21-22, 9am to 6pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Elm Street in downtown Manchester, NH.
For more than four decades, the Singer family has hosted this drive in memory of the late Gail Singer who passed away from leukemia in 1984 at the young age of 29.
Dan Dowling from the Northern New England Chapter of the American Red Cross joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to talk about one of the largest blood drives in the country and the immediate need to keep the blood supplies full.
