Portsmouth National Guard Unit Preparing for Deployment

Members of the New Hampshire National Guard unit are getting ready for their upcoming deployment.

The 157th Refueling Wing will be sending off more than 100 airmen later this year and they’ll be using modern KC-46 refueling technology.

While the KC-46 system is automated, it still needs to be properly maintained and operated.

The guard isn’t saying where the members are going but it’s believed to be somewhere in Southwest Asia.
