Casino Coming to Rockingham Park in Salem

Plans are now in the works to add a brand-new casino to Rockingham County.

The proposal calls for the casino to be set up at the former Lord and Taylor store located at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem.

The casino would feature hundreds of gaming and slot machines, a sports lounge, golf simulators and even a ballroom.

It’s also projected to add 700 new jobs.

A meeting to discuss the future of this project is set for September 24th.
