New Hampshire is ranked 49th for teachers in a national survey.

The personal income website wallethub.com analyzed 24 factors ranging from teachers’ income growth potential and pupil-teacher ratio to school spending per student and school system quality.

The survey ranked New York as the best state for teachers and Maine is considered the worst.
