Fire Suppression System Activated at I-93 Rest Stop in Hooksett

A small fire in the ice cream shop at the I-93 rest stop in Hooksett caused the activation of the fire suppression system at the gas pumps on Wednesday.

Channel 9 reported the Common Man Roadside Market & Deli said it happened when someone pulled a fire alarm.

An employee put out the flames in the shop with a fire extinguisher and the building was evacuated.

There were no reported injuries.
