A Conversation with Drummer Jim Sonefeld of Hootie & the Blowfish

Jim ‘Soni’ Sonefeld of Hootie & the Blowfish has lived a life that is rifled with fun and pain, light and darkness, but always with an amazing amount of love.  For a time in the 90’s, there was no bigger band in the world and on the radio airwaves.

In his new book, ” Swimming with the Blowfish,” Jim Sonefeld, drummer and one of the band’s principal songwriters, reveals the inside story of the band’s humble beginnings, meteoric rise, and sudden fall and ultimate rebirth. Jim shared his personal story with Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center.
