National Night Out
Concord Police Department will be among those participating in the 2022 National Night Out. Concord’s event will be this evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rollins Park.
National Night Out is America’s night out against crime. This will be the 38th annual night out in the United States.
Activities planned for Rollins Park include food, music, bike safety, contests, youth activities, Touch-A-Truck, rock climbing walls, and informational displays. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals.
Manchester police are getting ready for National Night Out this evening where they’ll get the chance to spend time with the people they serve. The event is being held from five p-m until eight p-m at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Coliseum on Beech Street. The department’s mental health and wellness coordinator says National Night Out is a way for residents to learn what officers do on a daily basis in addition to just responding to crimes.
The Dover Police Department will be participating in National Night Out later this afternoon from 4-7pm at the police station located at 46 Chestnut St. The public will be able to take tours of the station and see a variety of displays around the building including some of the specialized equipment and vehicles that the police use.
The Greenland Police Department, also inviting the community to the National Night Out this evening between 5 and 7:30 at the Greenland Town Office for a night of fun, food, music and family games.
Thousands of law enforcement agencies across the country will be taking part in National Night Out.
