NH National Guard says Six Soldiers in Kabul, Afghanistan are Safe
The New Hampshire National Guard says six soldiers from the state stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan are safe and back on duty.
“The soldiers have been overseas for more than a year”, says Lt. Col. Greg Heilshorn.
The soldiers are members of the Vermont-based 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
The guard says they were sent to Afghanistan to support security operations at the Hamid Karzai International Airport, including helping with evacuations.
