Crystal Lake Beach Still Closed Due To Bloom

Crystal Lake Beach in Manchester remains closed off to swimmers until further notice.

The reason for the shutdown is due to the presence of a toxic algae bloom that was initially discovered there last week.

The bloom can be harmful to both humans and animals if they come in contact with contaminated water.

Health officials are expected to collect samples again today and test to see how much bacteria remains.
