New Data Shows State Paying $239 Million

New data is showing the state has paid 239-million-dollars to the Youth Development Center settlement fund.
That fund was set up to compensate victims who suffered alleged sexual, physical, and mental abuse while under state care dating back five decades.
It was also created to stop what may have been thousands of cases from moving through the court system.
\So far, over 22-hundred people have submitted claims but only 425 have been resolved.
