Warning Is Issued Due To Avalanche Danger

The Mount Washington Avalanche Center is issuing a warning to skiers and hikers.

Officials say there’s an increased risk of avalanches because of new snowfall and stronger wind gusts.

A skier triggered an avalanche last week while heading down the Sluice in Tuckerman Ravine.

It’s recommended that anyone who may be heading out to consider factors like snowpack conditions and make sure to choose their routes carefully.
