School Districts Won’t Be Impacted By A Strike

Multiple school districts are breathing a sigh of relief after a strike involving the First Student transportation company was averted.

Drivers and other employees reached a tentative agreement on a new contract hours before their old deal was going to expire and will stay on the job.

First Student serves school districts in places such as Nashua, Derry, Laconia, Rochester and North Hampton.

A vote to ratify the contract will take place in the near future.
