Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Pleading Insanity

The man arrested after a fatal stabbing on a Manchester rail trail is expected to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.

44-year-old Raymond Moore is going to change his plea after being found competent to stand trial.

Moore allegedly attacked 75-year-old Daniel Whitmore and was already out on bail at the time of that 2022 incident after being charged for an attempted stabbing.

A hearing in this case is set for June 1st.
