Safety Barriers Are Being Installed Along I-95

The NH state Department of Transportation is hard at work installing safety barriers along a dangerous stretch of Interstate 95.

Those barriers are being set up on a five mile portion of the highway that runs northbound and southbound from Route 151 in North Hampton to Sherburne Road in Portsmouth.

The need for barriers is due to several deadly crashes where vehicles ended up crossing the median. Installation should be completed by summer.
