Proposed Flag Ban In NH Public Schools

A proposed ban on certain flags in New Hampshire’s public schools is in the spotlight.
Opponents warn a ban could face a constitutional challenge as a free-speech issue.
Supporters argue it would prevent schools from being indoctrination centers for values opposed by many parents.
If the bill becomes law, among the only flags that would be allowed are the U.S. flag, state flag, POW/MIA flag and the official flag of the community where the school is located.
