Ice Out On The Big Lake

Ice-out has been declared on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Emerson Aviation made the declaration at 6:59 Sunday morning.

Ice-out is declared on the lake when all five ports that the MS Mount Washington visits are free of ice.

Ice-in is declared on the lake when all five ports that the MS Mount Washington visits are covered with ice.

Last year’s declaration of Ice-Out was made April 16^th.
