Bill Passed To Regulate Massage Parlors In NH

A bill to license and regulate massage parlors in New Hampshire was passed yesterday by a NH Senate committee.

Authorities have said many of the businesses operate as fronts for prostitution and human trafficking.

Currently there is no state law that regulates massage parlors.

If the bill is passed by the Legislature and signed by the governor, it would take effect in July, 2027.
