Arrest Made Following Shooting

Manchester police say an arrest is made in connection with the shooting of two Department of Public Works employees.

According to authorities, 32-year-old Sean Day opened fire yesterday while the workers were in the area of Manchester Street and Union Street.

A single shot hit both victims, and they were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Day, who knew one of the workers, is facing two assault charges.

The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
