State Is Approving Road Expansion

NH State officials are giving their approval to a plan that’d expand a portion of road in Hooksett.
Roughly one-point-five miles of Route 28, also known as Hooksett Road, east of Southern New Hampshire University is being widened from the current two lanes to five.
The goal is to reduce traffic in the area while working to cut the number of crashes.
The 30-million-dollar project likely won’t start until 2031.
