Peak Of The Peak For Holiday Travel, Omicron Not Impacting Bookings
The Transportation Security Administration has screened more than 2 million people daily for the past four days, but it still remains down about 15% over pre-pandemic levels.
TSA said it expects to screen 30 million people between Monday and Jan. 3 even as U.S. COVID-19 cases spike and omicron spreads.
“It’s a busy week, the peak of the peak. Manchester Boston Regional Airport is finishing the year on a strong note”, Ted Kitchens told Good Morning NH.
Kitchens told Jack Heath plans are not being changed.
“We have two years under our belt. We have the tools to mitigate our risk. People are more comfortable”, Kitchens said.
He went on to say that business travel has not fully recovered, but air travel looks to be in good shape in the summer of 2022.
