Shaheen And Hassan React As Putin Invades Ukraine

New Hampshire Senators have reacted to Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Shaheen says Russian President Vladimir Putin will face the full wrath of the transatlantic alliance for waging war in Ukraine. Hassan says the unprovoked invasion is a direct threat not only to Ukraine, but to peace, freedom and security around the world.

Senator Jeanne Shaheen saying in part, “Vladimir Putin will face the full wrath of the transatlantic alliance for violating Ukraine’s sovereignty and waging war on the Ukrainian people.”

Shaheen went on to say, “Every option must be placed on the table to stop Putin’s malevolence that not only threatens Ukraine and Eastern Europe, but the security of all liberal democracies around the globe. Putin chose a path to war, and he must now suffer the consequences.”

Senator Maggie Hassan saying in press release:   “Russia’s unprovoked and unconscionable invasion of another sovereign nation is a direct threat not only to the people of Ukraine,  but to peace, freedom, and security in every corner of the world. The United States and our allies must bring to bear crippling consequences on Vladimir Putin and the Russian economy as a whole, as we also provide support to the Ukrainian people and our NATO allies.”
