Suspect Allegedly Linked to Last Week’s Explosion in Weare Faces Charges
A Webster man is in custody on charges linked to a pair of explosions that were reported last week in Weare.
Police say 54-year-old Dale Stewart Junior was arraigned Friday on charges of throwing or placing explosives, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and second-degree assault.
The first blast happened just after 6 p.m. near 362 Dustin Tavern Road. A second explosion went off around 6:50 p.m. off 16 Sugar Hill Road.
No injuries were reported in either blast.
Federal ATF officials are taking part in the investigation.
