Hudson Man Accused of Fatally Beating Mother Last Week Behind Bars in Nashua

A Hudson man accused of fatally beating his mother last week will remain in custody.

Court officials in Nashua say a local judge ruled that 26-year-old Grant DeGiacomo be held without bail after the suspect waived his scheduled arraignment Friday.

DeGiacomo is accused of fatally beating his mother, 57-year-old Christine DeGiacomo, at the family’s home on Shoal Creek Road.

Authorities say Grant DeGiacomo has been dealing with mental health issues dating back at least to 2020.

Court officials say he is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
