Ex-Massachusetts Cop Charged with Sexual Assault in Hampton
A former Massachusetts police officer is facing felony charges alleging he raped a woman in Hampton last year.
Dylan Bryant, 29, of Gardner, Massachusetts, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault in Rockingham County Superior Court.
The indictments allege the crime took place in Hampton between May 28 and 30 of 2022 and the woman was “physically helpless to resist.”
Bryant was employed by the city of Gardner at the time of his March indictment and was listed in court documents as “on paid leave, most likely unpaid leave soon.”
The Gardner city human resources office did not immediately return a call Monday to confirm his employment status.
However, the Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission announced last week Bryant was suspended as a law enforcement officer and listed him as “formerly” of the Gardner Police Department.
