Good Samaritan Critically Injured In Merrimack, Driver Left The Scene
(Merrimack, NH) — A 59-year-old Manchester man who stopped to help at a crash scene on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack this morning, was struck and critically injured.
State Police say the vehicle that hit the man didn’t stop.
The victim, whose name was not released, was initially taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester and then transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the hit-and-run to call them.
There were a number of crashed reported across the state as heavy rain fell during the morning commute.
