Kelly Ayotte Officially Kicks Off Bid to Become Granite State Governor

Kelly Ayotte has officially kicked off her bid to become the next governor of the Granite State.

The former United States Senator held a campaign event in Manchester Monday night.

Ayotte told supporters that she is running to succeed fellow Republican and current Governor Chris Sununu because she wants to build on what he has accomplished while in office.

Sununu said recently he’s not seeking re-election.

Voters won’t pick a new governor until 2024.
