Teens Briefly Hospitalized After Lightning Strikes Lake Winnipesaukee Cabin on Friday

No injuries are reported after a lake-front cabin was struck by lightning Friday in Moultonborough.

Local officials say it happened Friday afternoon at Camp Tecumseh, which sits on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee.

Several teens were inside the cabin when lightning struck.

Officials say they were checked out at a nearby hospital as a precaution.

The lightning strike happened as a series of storms was moving across the state’s northern lakes and mountain region.
