U.S. Senate Candidate Says Race Is Still Wide Open
U.S. Senate candidate Vikram Mansharamani saying on Good Morning New Hampshire he believes the field in this race is still forming.
“The primary process is actually very therapeutic. You need to think of the world of voting as a marketplace of ideas, the more ideas we have the better off we are going to be not only for the republican party, but as a state”, Mansharamani said.
When asked by Jack Heath why he decided to run, he said in part, “I never thought I would be a politican, I am a businessman, I am an analyst. I think about the world, about policies, and I look at what is happening. Honestly, at some point you need to look at what is going on and we need to fix it”.
There are four other GOP candidates running for the party nomination.
The winner of the primary will face incumbent Democrat Maggie Hassan in the November election.
