Hearing on Delay of Murder Trial Request

Channel 9 reported Thursday a hearing is now scheduled for next September 28th, on a request to delay Adam Montgomery’s murder trial.

His defense lawyer is seeking the delay in order to hire a new co-counsel and to allow that person sufficient time to prepare for trial.

Montgomery is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his daughter, Harmony.

For now, jury selection is scheduled to begin on November 21st.
