Two Lakes Region School Administrators on Leave

•The principal and assistant principal at Inter-Lakes Elementary School in Meredith have been placed on leave after a student assaulted a teacher.

Superintendent Mary Moriarty said it happened last week.

Channel 9 reported the student was in what’s called a ‘specialized learning environment’ and that supervision and building procedures are being reviewed.

The superintendent said no other details can be released.
