For the 2nd Time Nashua is Offering Free STD Testing on Valentine’s Day
What could be more romantic than taking your Valentine on a date to get checked for a sexually transmitted disease? If this sounds like something you and your partner would be into, then you may want to make reservations at a Nashua restaurant on Thursday.
For the second year in a row, the Division Public Health and Community Services is offering free testing for STD’s, HIV, and Hepatitis C. Testing will go from from 10am to 7pm on Thursday at the Community Health Clinic, located at 18 Mulberry St.
The Centers for Disease Control says there’s been an increase in the number of cases of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis nationwide. Though as New Hampshire has the lowest amount of reported STDs compared to the rest of the country.
Division Director Bobbie Bagley said the test only takes 20 minutes and you get the results right away. I guess you can then decide whether or not to ask your date to come back to your place after dinner.
