Suspect In Custody Following Saturday Shooting in Pittsfield

Local police are investigating Saturday’s late-morning shooting in Pittsfield that left two men hospitalized and a suspect in custody.

Department sources say officers were called to an area near 54 Main Street shortly before noon, arriving to find both victims in distress one of whom had been shot while the other had suffered an unspecified injury.

Both were rushed to Concord Hospital for treatment.

Ryan Ashley, 31, of Gilmanton, has been arrested and charged with first degree assault and two counts of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
