Route 111 in Nashua Open After Road Sign Falls Down

Route 111 in Nashua is open following the collapse of a road sign.

The sign fell from an overpass Friday and led to both the eastbound and westbound lanes being closed for a few hours.

The state Department of Transportation removed the sign and there were no crashes reported because of the incident.

It’s believed the sign fell for weather-related reasons.
