Portsmouth Naval Shipyard to Hold Emergency Training

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard will conduct routine emergency response training on Wednesday.

Shipyard officials announced they are also aware NextEra Energy Seabrook Station nuclear plant will also conduct training on the same day.

The shipyard’s training is being conducted to ensure emergency response personnel are prepared, ready and trained to respond to emergency situations.

Due to the location of the training, some members of the public may see emergency response personnel responding to this event.
