Historic Mansion In Dunbarton Burned

A 4-alarm fire broke out last night at a historic mansion in Dunbarton.

The Stark Mansion was once owned by Caleb Stark. son of Revolutionary War General John Stark.

The fire reportedly started in the barn and spread to the garage and house which are all connected.

Firefighters were able to save the front of the house which was built in 1785 according to town property records.
