Man in Custody After Run-In with Bow Trooper and K-9
A Goffstown man is in custody after he allegedly led state police on a brief vehicle chase hours before dawn Saturday in Bow.
New Hampshire state police say it happened around 12:20 a.m. when a trooper tried to stop a vehicle that had blown through a stop sign at the end of the Interstate 89 northbound Exit 1 off-ramp.
The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Richard Greeley, fled into the city with the trooper in pursuit before he abandoned his vehicle and tried to escape on foot.
He was brought down by the trooper’s K-9 officer moments later.
Greeley reportedly now faces multiple charges, chief among them reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
