Weare Woman Hurt in Snowmobile Crash
A 49-year-old Weare woman was hurt Saturday when the snowmobile she was operating crashed in Cambridge.
Shantelle Sutkus met a dog sled team and she was ejected when she slid her snowmobile sideways to avoid hitting her riding companions.
She was carried to a waiting ambulance by a rescue team and taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital.
It’s believed inattention and speed were factors in the accident.
