Officer-Involved Shooting in Hampstead

The state Attorney General’s Office is continuing its investigation into an officer-involved shooting in Hampstead.

Police responded to the Oldham Road home of Robert Boulter Monday after getting a report that he was inside the residence and making threatening statements.

Boulter then came out of the house with a rifle and pointed it at an officer, which resulted in him being shot.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and no one else was hurt.
