Manchester Man Charged in Fight at Arms Park
A Manchester man faces assault and other charges in connection with a reported fight in Arms Park last week, according to The Union Leader.
On March 14th Manchester police responded to the park for a report of a fight where they saw several men ‘posturing for a fight.’
As officers approached on foot, two of the men got into cars.
One began to drive out of the parking lot, despite police ordering him to stop.
A police dog was used to track the driver, identified by police as Sergio Torres Jr., 25, of Manchester, who was found hiding in the Eversource parking lot.
Torres was charged with reckless conduct, deadly weapon, riot, disobeying an officer, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and conduct after an accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
