A Possible White Christmas for NH
The New Hampshire area may see a round of wintry weather for the upcoming holidays this week.
A winter system will enter New Hampshire tonight, bringing a round of light snow across the region. Accumulations will be minimal, with a coating to 2 inches possible for most. Higher elevations of the White Mountains have the best chance for seeing over 2 inches of snow.
The snow will likely continue into the morning hours of Christmas Eve, which could create slippery road conditions.
Cloudy skies and chilly air remain in place for Christmas Day and the first night of Hanukkah. This next round of snow will ensure much of the state sees a White Christmas.
A White Christmas is achieved when there is at least one inch of snow on the ground at 7 a.m. Christmas morning.
