AAA Predicting Historic Level of Travel for July 4th Holiday Weekend

The July 4th holiday weekend is just a few days away, and AAA A says it is going to be a very busy time for travel.

The agency says over 50 million people are planning to head to destinations 50 miles or more from their homes.

If that projection holds, it would break the record of 49 million travelers set in 2019.

AAA says this shows even though the cost of travel is higher, consumers aren’t cutting back on trips.

The busiest travel day of the holiday weekend is expected to be this Friday.
