Airline Passenger Protection Program for New Hampshire
An agreement has been reached between the New Hampshire Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Transportation to help airline consumers.
The intent is to better ensure consumer complaints made by Granite Staters against airlines and ticket agents are properly reviewed and settled.
Attorney General John Formella said the partnership comes at a time when there’s been a large increase in the number of complaints from passengers about flight disruptions, lack of refunds, and lost or delayed baggage.
The agreement may be renewed in two-year intervals.
