Armed Suspect Situation

The Londonderry Police Department earlier this morning were asking the public to avoid the area of Mammoth and Rockingham roads as officers investigated a possible armed suspect near a gas station.

Police said the report of an armed suspect stemmed from an incident that took place in a neighboring town.

According to authorities, the person of interest has been contained in a vehicle.

The scene has now been cleared and traffic is moving again in that area of Londonderry.
