Assistance Available to Heat Homes

Winter weather will be here before you know it, and New Hampshire residents are being reminded help is available to heat their homes.

Even though benefits won’t start being provided until December 1st, people can begin applying now.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program provides relief to people who make below 60% of the statewide median income.

The average benefit is about $1,500 a month.
