Autopsy Pending Following Saturday’s Discovery of Missing Barnstead Woman

The search is over for a Barnstead woman who was reported missing right after the New Year.

Local police say officers found the body of 31-year-old Ashley Turcotte Saturday morning, not far from where her abandoned car had been found in some woods off New Road.

Department sources say foul play does not appear to have been a factor in Turcotte’s death.

An autopsy is pending.
