Bacteria Warning Issued For Water Bodies

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services if issuing cyanobacteria warnings for three bodies of water.

According to authorities, active cyanobacteria was found in Province Lake in Effingham and Wakefield as well as Tucker Pond in Salisbury.

Cyanobacteria is also known as blue-green algae and exposure to it can cause health issues in humans and animals. For more details, head to des.nh.gov.
