Bedford Police Warn About Phishing Scam

Bedford police are issuing a warning to residents about an ongoing phishing scam.

They say scammers posing at town staff members are sending emails to people asking them to pay fees using wire transfer services.

The message claims to be collecting money for reviewing an application and appears to reference a case sent to the town involving the removal of dead and dying trees from someone’s property.

Anyone who gets this email should delete it immediately.
