Bettencourt Nominated State Insurance Commissioner

D.J. Bettencourt of Salem has been nominated by Governor Chris Sununu to be New Hampshire’s insurance commissioner.

He’s been the deputy commissioner since 2020.

If confirmed by the Executive Council, Bettencourt would succeed Christopher Nicolopoulos of Bow, who resigned last month.
