Biden Contrasts Health Care Agenda Against GOP
President Biden is calling on Congress to work with his administration to lower health care costs.
While speaking in New Hampshire on Monday, the president outlined his health care agenda, which includes expanding the Affordable Care Act and capping out-of-pocket drug costs for seniors on Medicare.
He contrasted his plan with Republican lawmakers, who he says want to repeal Obamacare and put social security and Medicare on the chopping block.
He called out Republican frontrunner former President Trump by name, who on Monday floated the idea of cutting spending on entitlement programs, but later tried to clarify, saying he was talking about cutting waste.
